| CARES Certification Authority for Reinforcing Steels is an independent body that operates for the benefit of the construction sector offering certification to companies that produce materials, components or provide services within the reinforced concrete industry. All raw materials are sourced from CARES approved suppliers. Wire is processed in accordance to BS 4482, suitable for the manufacture of Fabric Mesh, Concrete Pipe Cages and the reinforcement of Concrete Products. Reinforcing Fabric Mesh is manufactured in accordance to BS 4483. Process control, inspection and testing of material is on a continuous basis from raw material receipt through product despatch. Full product compliance and tracebility records of all processes are maintained with test certificates available on request. Regular independent audits are carried out by CARES and other approved test houses.  |
