| Pecafil forms a permanent formwork
to beams and pile caps. It consists of a steel mesh with a heat shrunk
layer of polyethylene applied to both sides. Supplied in 2.4m long
U-section units tailored to suit requirements or pre-bent strips to
form pile caps or bases. Pecafil is lightweight, flexible and easy to handle and can be installed using semi-skilled labour. The supply of a pre-formed shutter can help reduce the building programme times considerably and larger area's can be poured in one visit. Other time and labour savings include faster fixing than traditional methods, no concrete blinding required, no stripping, reduction in dig and cartaway (particularly beneficial in contaminated ground). Pecafil U-sections provide a clean spoil free excavation and our recommended pecafil spacers will give the required concrete cover. | Stremaform forms a permanent jointing
formwork. Stremaform is fixed as permanent formwork, eliminating costs
of removal and disposal. When concrete is poured behind it, the expanded mesh becomes embedded, producing a mechanical key for the adjacent pour. Using Stremaform provides a high degree of control over the quality of joints which provides as strong a bond and shear as a well prepared scabbled joint. |
